There is a road in Poole, Dorset where lots of the houses kind of compete with each other using Christmas decorations. It’s got to a point now where the local media usually cover the event each year. There are at least ten or so houses together in a cul-de-sac that are all absolutely plastered in lights and decorations of all descriptions.
This was a quick psychedelic shot taken with a Lensbaby, (I’m not particularly keen on Lensbabies to be honest with you!).

This is the Bournemouth Carnival Band and you will often see them performing around the town centre, usually raising money for charity (as they were today).
I have seen them numerous times and it always brings a smile to my face to see thirty or so band members in full Spiderman costumes. Not only do they look great but they sound good too! 
Fortunately I had my camera handy today and was able to grab a couple of shots.
